President's Message

Thank you for visiting the Insurance Advertising Compliance Association (IAdCA) Web site. We hope you find it of assistance. The Board of Directors wishes to thank all of those who attended the 2008 Conference in Chicago. Despite the weather and airline problems, we had an interesting and informative conference. The Board of Directors bids a sad, but fond adieu to Lisa Duncan. Her job responsibilities have taken her in a different direction and we wish her much success in her endeavors. Lisa was chairperson of the Education Committee this past year and was instrumental in coordinating the speakers for the 2008 Conference. Great job, Lisa! The Board of Directors is happy to announce that Randa Zalman has been confirmed as a new Board Member. Randa has helped by volunteering for the past few years with IAdCA, and held two sessions at the 2008 conference. We look forward to working with Randa on the Board and gaining valuable knowledge from her. IAdCA's main event is the Annual Conference and is designed to enhance your compliance knowledge and job performance. The IAdCA Web site is also a great way to keep up with current news about IAdCA and the insurance industry as a whole. If you have any suggestions regarding this Web site, please send them via the Contact IAdCA button at the left of the page. The Resource Center offers the CLEAR Report Insurance Advertising Laws and Regulations and special conference attendee sections contain information about past conferences. Please also log into and set up your personal ID and Password for the Message Board. You can then post questions or comments about advertising-related matters through the Message Board. Other attendees and the Board of Directors can respond to your questions and discuss topics that would enhance knowledge about advertising across various lines of insurance. If you would like to be more involved in IAdCA, there is a place for volunteer opportunities through IAdCA. Please use the Volunteer Ventures button to let us know your interest in serving this organization. We welcome your comments and suggestions regarding IAdCA.
